KILIA machines in the cheese industry
In the process of producing different types of spread cheese, KILIA mixers and automatic angle mincers (cheese model) as well as bowl cutters and vacuum-cooking bowl cutters are used.
The KILIA “cheese mincer” is able to process half loafs of cheese as well as 25 kg blocks of butter , both of which are precut in the machine hopper by a shaft with cutting wedges. The frequency controlled drive system can be adapted in speed variably, thus allowing a processing of different raw material. The conveyor worm speed is load-dependently steered by the main worm, so that the machine is constantly filled in an optimal way for highest output capacities. The special, low-contact cutting system provides a gentle cut with long serviceable life of the cutting set.
With the help of KILIA vacuum-cooking bowl cutters, the whole process – starting with slightly precut raw material – can be carried out in one machine completely. The optimal heating, heat-keeping and cooling features of the KILIA bowl cutters 5000 Express make this process an easy job. The unloader disk can be selected from a variety of models and should be adapted to the product. For spread cheese types with pieces (e.g. of mushrooms or salami), the KILIA mixing speed with knives running backwards should be selected.
